January 29, 2006-Amherst

Just in the past year Marion L. Steele High School has experienced some budget cuts. It is from this time on that parents began moving towards fighting against the possibility of their children to have to pay to play on sports teams, act in school plays, or to participate in any other extracurricular activities.

One of the solutions that was proposed to resolve this problem includes that of pushing for a tax levy, which was heavily supported by many families.
