November 22, 1963. My brother was in Dallas, Tx. to do a show with Dick Clark and the Caravan of Stars, along with many great Rock & Roll Stars of the 60's. Bobby Vee, Bryan Hyland, The Chiffons, Dixie Cups, Jimmy Clanton and many more. My Brother was Dale of the singing duo DALE & GRACE. Their song was #1 that week . "I'm Leaving It Up to You." They were all standing in front of their Hotel when President Kennedy's motorcade pass by, a few minutes later they heard the gun shots. They later learned that the president had been shot and killed.

I was still living in the UK when JFK was killed. I have vague recollections of watching it on TV. It didn't hit me that he was the president. I was only 7 at the time.
