Taking driving test in USA

Webmaster, USA, Taking driving test in USA
My youngest daughter is just starting her driving test and taking the theory test to obtain a Learners Permit, which reminded me of having to take a driving test at the grand old age of 56.
This webmaster is 56 years old and now lives in the United States, I have taken 3 car driving tests 2 when I was 18 in United Kingdom ( failed the first time ) and once in the US .
When I took my driving test in the UK at age 18 I was young and brash as most teenage boys are and thought I could not fail needless to say I did the first time.
The driving test in the UK is much different than in the US and from my own kids feedback is even more difficult now due to the amount of traffic and when i was young the only theory test was the examiner would get out the highway code book and ask you a couple of questions at the end of your test.
The first hurdle for me to take was the theory test for a learners permit, and once I got that out of the way I put in for my driving test.
I live in a quiet area of the midwest so when taking my test here in the states the traffic was light and the test was fairly easy, but that still did not stop me feeling nervous.
