Kids These Days

Posted By
Violet, USA, Kids These Days

I chose to write about this topic because I'm still a kid myself, 13yrs. I always hear adults talk about how disrespectful teens are these days, but this poem i wrote for my mom proves I'm certainly not!

I am afraid I Have been informed that this Poem was Plagerised from

Violet, you should also secure this poem with a copyright or something of this nature so it cannot be pirated by someone else. It is absolutely, amazingly beautiful!

Beautiful poem, Violet. Just be sure you do NOT enter any of these on-line "Poetry Contests" that are advertised everywhere. They are scams and will only cost you money for doing what you can do yourself. I would like your premission to republish this poem on my blog (and I will link it to your blog). As for copyright, I believe internet law gives you a copyright for any original work, simply by publishing it. Enforcing it, however, is a different matter. Perhaps you could get a "wiser" oldie to google Internet copyright. Last time I looked there were thousands of pages. ;)

From The People History
I do not usually allow permission for postings on The People History to be duplicated on other sites but I believe this is a truly fantastic poem Violet Created and should be shared to show that we should not be so quick to judge teenagers

Please include a link to The People History as this was where Violet chose to post and for good manners please also include the reason which was to help adults understand that many of this generation are as caring as earlier generations

I'm sorry, but this poem was written By: Laurie Kalb and published in 2000 in the book Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul III...It is an awesome poem, but you didn't write it...Plagiarism is a very serious offense.
