I remember every house had clothes lines in the yard usually with with a long row of cloth diapers and rubber pants hanging up on it.
The stupid giant hair dryers in the beauty salons, that had big puffy plastic type bag that went over the women's heads after they got their perms.
My mum never seemed to have curlers out of her hair most days
Everybody seemed to smoke then in the streets in the shops and just about anywhere.
And my first car was a 1968 Plymouth Satellite 2dr hd top than ran like a dream !!! wish I had that car back today it was fun to drive.
And I can remember hitching just about everywhere and never had a problem not like today , would never even think about it .
